This year‘s final exhibition carries a family name as its title.
Painter BieneFeld, who has been a core member of the artist roster at Galerie Born for quite a few years, transformed it into her artist‘s name, following her studies at the UdK in Berlin, upon advice of her gallerist back then.
Emil Bienefeld, the painter‘s son, is part of Berlin‘s street art scene; his mother was often called in by the police to pick up the teenage sprayer.
But for a number of years he has also been working on canvas. In 2019, Born Gallery
exhibited him for the first time at Heiddorf project space, with canvases on display, and with spray-painted murals, straight onto the walls.
In Berlin now, both will exclusively show canvases. A common installation wall is envisioned.
The familial artistic dialogue is thus opened.
