Biene Feld – Grün ist Blau

The Berlin painter Biene Feld has recently been working frequently in series. While some time ago it was the series "Five Seasens", inspired by the Dutch garden architect Piet Oudolf, the inspiration for the current series of works came from the Japanese writer Haruki Murakami. In his novel "1Q84" Biene Feld had found the idea: Green is Blue. Oudolf, spoke of the fact that there are more than the usual 4 seasons, because the transitions are always fluid, there one finds manifold "intermediate times". And there one is then also with the remark of Murakami. For how do we perceive colors, how do they appear to us. Much depends on the light, but also on one's own subjective observation. In her new works, Biene Feld tries to pursue this phenomenon.
